Amber has over 20 years of experience in early childhood development and children’s ministry. She graduated summa cum laude from Hope International University, earning a B.S. in Human Development.
As a consultant, Amber uses time-tested, practical, useful strategies to encourage and challenge caregivers to raise the quality of their centers to their greatest potential. In so doing, she creates team spirit wherever she works with the leadership and staff of a center. Amber’s specialties include enrollment, curriculum, safety, environments, policies and procedures, training, marketing, and classroom management. She has had the pleasure of helping many schools set and achieve goals for ERS, CLASS, NAEYC, NACCP, and state licensing visits. Amber teaches workshops for parents, educators, and volunteers in schools, churches, and at conferences around the country. She also works as a grant program director for two nationally accredited preschools.
Amber enjoys small town Southern California with her husband, Jason (since 1991), and their three teenage children. It could be said she is a closet daredevil who loves roller-coasters and school supplies (but never at the same time). Amber feels blessed to be able to use her education and experience to impact children and their caregivers for Christ’s kingdom. One of her favorite Bible verses is 2 Timothy 2:2: “And the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.”
